Cheerful clean hotel and staff was really helpful. The room was huge, moreover spotless with a bathroom. The location was comfortable and absolutely perfect for Panglao Island, near Dumaluan Beach where one pays 25 pesos at the guard station of the Dumaluan Beach Resort and Danao adventure park, Chocolate hill, Tarsier sanctuary, Loboc river adventures: D

My experience was enjoyable. The hotel was conveniently located - close to both the ferry port and airport, and within walking distance to the beach. The staff were friendly and accommodating. What I liked best was the free Wi-Fi and daily room cleaning service that made my stay comfortable. the breakfast spread was well-rounded with hearty options.
There were a couple of things that could have been improved. The beds were on the harder side, which left me with backache every morning.

The room at Maya Playa was larger than expected, and it was cleaned everyday. The location was nice, just a short walk from the best beach on the island. We enjoyed delicious Italian food at Maya Playa's restaurant. I would recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help me with any request I had. They even helped me book tours and transportation without any trouble. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the pizza, which was crispy with a doughy base. The location was perfect, not too isolated, and not too far from the beaches. The air conditioning was easy to adjust and kept the room at the perfect temperature.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

We had a blast trying out the 9-hole golf course and sipping on refreshing drinks at the beach bars. The roundtrip airport shuttle made our arrival and departure super convenient. Plus, the terrace and mini golf were perfect for chilling and having some friendly competition. Oh, and the golf lessons were so much fun! We felt like pros in no time. Such a rad vacation spot for young adventurers like us!
The only downside for us party-loving teenagers was that we wished there were more late-night activities or a happening party scene at the resort. Although the terrace was cool, we were looking for some high-energy fun to keep the party going all night.

Maya Playa Resort in Panglao was chosen by my director for our recent business trip, and I must say, it was a fantastic choice. The resort offered a range of amenities that made my stay truly enjoyable. I particularly loved the full-service spa, where I was able to relax and unwind with soothing massages. The spa, called Nuat Thai, provided a pampering experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Indulging in a Swedish massage at the onsite spa was an absolute highlight of my trip, and I highly recommend it to future guests.

The weekend was perfect! We got a free welcome drink upon arrival and were warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who gave us great advice and helped us book tours around the island. the location was awesome, only a short walk away from the best beach and a quick ride to popular tourist areas. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, even free drinks! the restaurant was amazing, with delicious Italian food and attentive staff.
There were just a few small things that could be improved. They charged a small fee for early check-in, which was a bit of a bummer after a long trip.

The hotel has friendly reception staff who are always happy to help with tours and transportation. The restaurant has good Italian and Filipino dishes, and is open-air for a relaxing atmosphere. The location is convenient, with a short walk to the beach and a 150 peso ride to Alona. The rooms have air conditioning and clean bathrooms with thick towels provided.
The hotel lacks a safe in the room.
